This was 12.89 percentage points higher than May 2026 (10.25%) and was Group I’s highest pass percentage since May 2024 (27.15%).
It was also 9.18 points above January 2026 (13.96%), marking a clear recovery in the latest attempt.

Group II Analysis
Latest result: In September 2026, Group II recorded 18.92%, with 12,938 candidates passing out of 68,400 who appeared.
The rate was 2.81 percentage points higher than May 2026 (16.11%) and 3.38 points above January 2026 (15.54%).
It remained below September 2025 (27.14%), reinforcing that Group II performance also changes meaningfully between attempts.
