ICAI Announces September 2024 Exam Dates and Centers for CA Foundation and Intermediate

No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2024: In accordance with Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is pleased to announce the dates and locations for the next Chartered Accountants Foundation and Intermediate Examinations, provided that there are sufficient candidates at each location.

Exam Schedule

Foundation Course Examination

(As per the syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 25 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.)

• Dates: 13th, 15th, 18th & 20th September 2024

Intermediate Course Examination

(As per the syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 28 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.)

• Group I: 12th, 14th & 17th September 2024
• Group II: 19th, 21st & 23rd September 2024

No examination is scheduled on 16th September 2024 (Monday) due to Milad-un-Nabi, a compulsory (gazetted) Central Government holiday.

Exam Timings

• Foundation Course:
  • Paper 1 & 2: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 Hours)
  • Paper 3 & 4: 2 PM to 4 PM (2 Hours)
• Intermediate Course: All Papers: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 Hours)

Note: Paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination do not have advance reading time. Other papers include a 15-minute advance reading time starting from 1:45 PM (IST).

Examination Centers

Indian Cities

• Detailed list includes cities across all states such as Port Blair, Anantapur, Guwahati, Patna, Raipur, Delhi/New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and many more.

Overseas Centers

• Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, and Muscat.

Note: Exam commencement times at overseas centers are adjusted to local times equivalent to 2 PM (IST).

Online Exam Form Submission

Candidates must apply online at https://eservices.icai.org and pay the examination fee online. Forms are available on the SSP portal.

Important Dates

• Intermediate Exam:
  • Start: 7th July 2024
  • End: 20th July 2024 (without late fees), 23rd July 2024 (with late fees)
  • Correction window: 24th – 26th July 2024
• Foundation Exam:
  • Start: 28th July 2024
  • End: 10th August 2024 (without late fees), 13th August 2024 (with late fees)
  • Correction window: 14th – 16th August 2024

Examination Fees

Intermediate Course

• Indian Centers:
  • Single Group/Unit: ?1500/-
  • Both Groups/Unit 2: ?2700/-
• Overseas Centers:
  • Single Group/Unit: US$ 325
  • Both Groups/Unit 2: US$ 500
• Bhutan & Kathmandu Centers:
  • Single Group/Unit: ?2200
  • Both Groups/Unit 2: ?3400

Foundation Course

• Indian Centers: ?1500/-
• Overseas Centers: US$ 325
• Bhutan & Kathmandu Centers: ?2200

Late fee: ?600/- (India/Bhutan/Kathmandu) or US$ 10 (overseas).

Option to Answer Papers in Hindi
