ICAI CDS Portal to be Closed for Physical Stock Audit
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that its Central Depository Services (CDS) Portal will be closed from 25th March 2020 to 31st March 2020 for Physical Stock Audit.
During this period, the CDS Portal will not be available for any transactions, including the submission of forms, payments, and queries.
ICAI has advised all its members and stakeholders to plan their activities accordingly.
The closure of the CDS Portal is in line with the ICAI’s policy of conducting regular physical stock audits of its inventory. The physical stock audit is a necessary process to ensure the accuracy of the ICAI’s inventory records.
The ICAI has assured its members and stakeholders that all transactions that are submitted to the CDS Portal before the closure date will be processed and completed after the reopening of the portal.
The ICAI has also advised its members and stakeholders to use the ICAI’s other online services, such as the ICAI website and the ICAI Mobile App, during the period of closure of the CDS Portal.
The ICAI apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the CDS Portal.
