Important Announcement: CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2025 Exam Schedule
No. 13-CA (EXAM)/JANUARY/2025: In accordance with Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is pleased to announce the schedule for the CA Foundation and Intermediate Examinations, to be held in January 2025.
Foundation Course Examination Dates
- 12th January 2025
- 14th January 2025
- 16th January 2025
- 18th January 2025
Intermediate Course Examination Dates
- Group I: 11th, 13th, and 15th January 2025
- Group II: 17th, 19th, and 21st January 2025
Examination Timings (IST)

*In Paper 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination, no advance reading time is provided. For all other exams, 15 minutes of advance reading time is given from 1:45 PM to 2 PM (IST).
Examination Cities in India
The CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2025 exams will be conducted in multiple cities across India, including:
- Andaman and Nicobar Islands: Port Blair
- Andhra Pradesh: Anantapur, Guntur, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and more.
- Bihar: Patna, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Bhagalpur, and more.
- Delhi / New Delhi: Delhi / New Delhi
- Gujarat: Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and more.
- Karnataka: Bengaluru, Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli, and more.
- Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad, and more.
Overseas Examination Centers
The exams will also be held in eight overseas cities for Foundation and Intermediate:
- Abu Dhabi
- Bahrain
- Thimpu (Bhutan)
- Doha
- Dubai
- Kathmandu (Nepal)
- Kuwait
- Muscat
Application Process
Candidates are required to apply online at https://eservices.icai.org (Self Service Portal – SSP) and pay the requisite exam fee online. Exam forms will be available in SSP starting from 10th November 2024. Ensure your course eligibility and submit the form before the deadlines.

Examination Fees
- Intermediate Course:
- Single Group: ₹1500/-
- Both Groups: ₹2700/-
- Overseas (Single Group): US$ 325
- Overseas (Both Groups): US$ 500
- Bhutan & Kathmandu: ₹2200 (Single), ₹3400 (Both)
- Foundation Course:
- Indian Centers: ₹1500/-
- Overseas Centers: US$ 325
- Bhutan & Kathmandu: ₹2200
Late Fee: ₹600/- (Indian/ Bhutan/Kathmandu) and US$10 (Overseas).
Option to Answer Papers in Hindi
Candidates can choose either English or Hindi for answering their Foundation and Intermediate exams.
